I thought of this two-page spread from Scott McCloud's very interesting art-/comic-theory graphic novel,
Understanding Comics, during our class discussion about living in an image-dominated reality where copies of images are ubiquitous. I highly recommend Understanding Comics to anyone interested in comics, graphic novels, or sequential narratives.
Notice that this comic (originally published in 1993 before the Internet was common) has gained a new level of meaning by appearing as a digital image on your computer screen.
